Dr. Emilia Hodak, MD
Prof. Hodak is the Head of the Department of Dermatology and Head section of skin cancer at Beilinson Hospital, Head of the Department of Dermatology at Tel-Aviv University. She is internationally recognized as a key opinion leader in oncodermatology specialized in CTCL. She had written many peer reviewed scientific papers and reviews on these pathologies.
Prof. Eli Sprecher, MD, PhD - Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center
Prof. Sprecher is the Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. Born in Waterloo, Belgium; moved to Israel in 1981; received his MD and PhD degrees from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem; specialized in dermatology at the Rambam Medical Center; spent a post-doctoral fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia; became Chair of the Department of Dermatology at the Tel Aviv Medical Center in 2008 and Full Professor at the Tel Aviv University in 2010. Serves as section editor for the British Journal of Dermatology, associate editor for the Journal of Investigative Dermatology and associate editor for the American Journal of Human Genetics. Has published over 200 peer-reviewed publications, has mentored over 40 students, and has received numerous national and international awards.
Prof. Kristian Reich, MD - Dermatologikum Hamburg
Prof. Reich studied human medicine along with German studies and philosophy at Albrecht-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg/Breisgau and human medicine at the Technische Universität München (Munich technical university). Kristian's scientific education was mainly in the immunology field, including in the laboratory for mucous membrane immunology at the Technischen Universität München and the clinical and experimental immunology section at Eberhard-Karl-Universität Tübingen. He also spent time researching in the USA. Prof. Reich specialised in dermatology and venereology and gained his university teaching qualification for the subject of dermatology and venereology at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. Additional title allergology. He was appointed university professor and managing senior physician at the Universitäts-Hautklinik (university skin clinic) Göttingen. Since 2005 Prof. Reich has been the co-manager at Dermatologikum Hamburg (dermatology only institute, 150 personnel) and a founder member of SCIderm Hamburg (Scientific Research, Clinical Studies and Innovative Consulting). He has been published over 100 times in national and international medical journals and held presentations, seminars and lectures. Winner of Herbert-Herxheimer Research Prize from the German Society for Allergology and Clinical Immunology.
Dr. Iris Fried, MD
Dr. Iris Fried specializes in pediatric Hematology Oncology at Shaare Zedek Medical Center. She graduated in 1999 from The Faculty of Medicine, Ben Gurion University, and was trained in pediatrics at Hadassah Medical Hospital in Israel. In 2010, following completion with honours of fellowship in Pediatric Hematology Onclogy in Hadassah Medical Center, Dr Fried participated in the brain tumor program in SicKids in Toronto, with further training in Children’s National Medical Center in Washington. During these years she won the scholarship of the American Physicians Fellowship and the Harry and Bella Wexner Legacy Heritage Fund for medical education and research as a Senior Fellow. Between 2012-2017 Dr Fried led the neuro oncology program in Hadassah Medical Center. During these years she received the Matzner award for excellence in medical practice, from the Hebrew University-Jerusalem. Dr Iris Fried leads the pediatric oncology section in Shaare zedek Medical Center since July 2017.
Prof. Thomas Dirschka, MD
Professor Dr. Thomas Dirschka is a renowned German dermatologist specializing in dermatology, oncodermatology, and allergology. He is the Head of the Clinic of Dermatology at St. Antonius and St. Joseph Hospital Association in Wuppertal and a Professor of Dermatology at the University of Witten-Herdecke. After earning his medical degree from the University of Bochum and conducting research at the Medical College of Virginia, he founded CentroDerm®, focusing on dermatological research and clinical trials. With over 200 publications, numerous lectures, and significant contributions to skin cancer prevention, inflammatory skin diseases, and aesthetic dermatology, he is a key figure in the field. Prof. Dirschka is also a board-certified dermatopathologist and an active member of multiple international dermatology societies.
